When you're chasing a dream, it's never a straight line. Our story isn't polished or perfect — but it's real. It's a story about getting knocked down, standing back up, and refusing to quit.

In 2019, two high school mates, Daniel and Nick, decided to take a shot. We weren't just building another gymwear brand — we were building a symbol for anyone who's ever been close to giving up, but kept pushing anyway. It all started in a tiny apartment in Sydney's Inner West, fuelled by passion and ambition

Daniel, a crane operator by day and gym junkie by night, had a vision: activewear that wasn't just about how you looked, but how you felt when life hit hard. Nick, a web designer and marketer, shared the dream. iLIFT Activewear went from a few customers to a few thousand — a name that clicked with the fitness community. But success wasn't easy.

In 2021, trademark issues forced us to abandon iLIFT. Everything we had built had to be scrapped. It was devastating. Rebranding wasn't just starting over — it was rebuilding from scratch.

We came back with a new name: Lyve. Bold and full of energy. But another legal challenge forced us to let it go too.

Two rebrands. Two heartbreaks. Most would have called it a day.

We chose to fight.

In 2023, we found our name: Zuva. Trademarked. Locked down. Ours. Zuva represents resilience, strength, and the bond between two friends who refused to let failure define them.

We were never the straight-A students. We were the class clowns sneaking out to the gym, chasing the feeling of progress. The gym wasn't just a place to train — it was where we found purpose.

Zuva isn't just activewear. It's a badge of honour for the fighters. For the ones who show up even when life gets messy, unfair, or brutal.
